The edges of the playing field prevent pucks from flying out of bounds. The table is designed with special holes around the perimeter of the playing area to provide airflow and puck movement. The  air circulation device operates on 8 AA batteries (not included).  All scored pucks fall through a special hole under the goal, and the table's legs are designed to prevent scratching even the most delicate surfaces.
